Sechelt

Just got back from a wonderful two days in Sechelt. A little bit of a self discovery tour. I found that I have a lot in common with 'Gus Gus'. (Remember the little mouse in Cinderella...?) Once again - I digress....
I needed to get away to collect my thoughts. So armed with my trusty bicycle me and the Rendezvous made off to Sechelt early Thursday morning. You see, play a little house gig of sorts there every Thursday (unless I'm out of the area....), and this time I wanted to take advantage of the nice weather we've been having. I bought a brand new bike last year that mainly sat waiting for me to ride it. Then this year with the purchase of my Rendezvous I aquired a beautiful Thoule bike rack....(If you read my earlier post about golf, you may find it ironic that I drive a 'Tiger Woods mobile'...again - I digress...), with the
intentions of being a healthy, running, biking maniac for the summer. I'm not away all that much this summer, relatively, compared to the past few years, so I really am hoping to hone in a bit on getting healthier... I will use 'Gus Gus' as my inspiration....

Regardless...yes I rode a bit...not as much as I would've liked, but I did beach comb a bit as well - I've always enjoyed that...even back in the Soo on Lake Superior, I really enjoyed the hidden treasures a beach can surprise you with...

Aside from that - not much else to report....

I must sleep - another day will be dawning - and I don't want to miss it....
