Czesc from Warsaw

I met someone last night in the Sheraton Warsaw who asked how my running was coming. I asked how he knew that…he said he reads my blogs - man, what's that all about? How cool is that - I should start to right something a little more substantial I guess hm?

I don't even know this person…I do now I guess…lol

By the way friend, if you're reading this, thanks for mentioning it to me.

So just finished running around Warsaw for about an hour and fifteen minutes.... one thing the soviets did well here was build a lot of park land areas...quite lovely actually - too bad it's surrounded by soviet styles architecture...the nicest buildings are the newest ones (western style) and the really old buildings that were refurbished after the second world war destroyed them.

Old town here was painstakingly rebuilt to exact specifications from old photographs they had taken before the Nazis wiped it all out. There are still some old ruins of a brick wall that you can see in that area. Other areas of town still have buildings that were hit with mortar shells and bullets during the war and they still carry those scars. Quite sobering...

Yesterday I took my first ashtanga yoga class. It was so hard, but I was already prepared for that. Luckily the instructor was kind enough to instruct the class in English although all the other people were Polish. Very kind of her.... and holy cow...is she frighteningly flexible... !!!!!!!!!!!

Must...get...in better...shape.... must.... get...in better...shape.... must be.... more.... flexible...

Cheers….
